Well...my download speed is 70 mb/s so it faster for me to download it when it will become released instead of preload and unpock then

I think it depends of you hard disk and your internet speed.

But I installed on my SSD so it should depend on which thing is better

general rule is if you have good internet, just wait until it releases. the decryption process takes a long time.

however, if the game has regional unlock timing (death stranding does not), you can often play the game early in your region by preloading and then using a VPN. unfortunately this does not apply to this game since it has a worldwide unlock time.

No steam games have regional unlock, I'd know because I live in NZ and I've never been able to play games earlier because of it. It's always been worldwide release. Only have that on PS4

Some games absolutely do have regional unlock times. I've used the VPN method many times on Steam. Do you think I'm just pulling that out of my ass or something?

A lot of games have regional unlock times. Doom Eternal was a recent one. A lot of people used a VPN to unlock the game early in other countries.

If your internet is fast enough to download a 63 gig game in under an hour, go ahead and wait.
I can't imagine it taking over an hour even on an HDD to decrypt, realistically it should be under 30 minutes.
