Preorder bonus on steam key?

If I preorder a steam key of the game (which is cheaper), will it include the preorder bonus listed here?

mostlikely no, I had this with other games, which where cheaper as well.

Yes It will if you buy it from proper third party sellers like Greenmangaming, GameBillet to name a few. They have clearly stated in their product page that you will indeed get the pre-order bonuses when you buy the game from them. But if you buy from questionable sellers like cd-keys, you are taking your chances unnecessarily .

I pre-ordered it from GreenManGaming - and it will be pre-order key with bonuses. I think this should be the case to all official retail partners who get keys directly from publisher.

If you buy keys from dodgy markets like G2A (I think you know what it is if steam out censors it) or similar crap - there is even a question of legitimacy of those keys as they don't come from publishers, yet a alone matter of pre-order bonuses.

There's usually 3 instances with this:-

- Either the external key is a designated pre-order key
- You get the pre-order material if you activate it either in a pre-load phase or within X hours of release
- You just get an ordinary retail key

If you buy from an authorised retailer, any pre-order bonuses are usually included regardless but going to shady markets, you may just get a standard key or one that's obtained illegally. Any retail site should list what you're getting though.

GMG would usually accurately describe what you get from your pre-order on their store page, if it's not on their store page then they would not guarantee on whatever pre-order bonuses are included.

You should always contact them via their support or forum page to clarify whatever their key includes any specific pre-order items. Since GMG is a legit authorised reseller and all, they would have proper communication channel with the game publisher that issued those keys.
