What if you don't like Norman Reedus?

He has never been one of my favourite actors, didn't like him in Walking Dead that much, so yeah this game would be a bit of a lousy buy for me tbh lol. Its a problem with these games that feature the likeness of an actor, you immediately alienate anyone who doesn't like that particular actor. I am not sure that's a very good idea. It is not as if anyone is going to be particularly drawn to buying the game if they wouldnt have bought it normally, just because they like the actor.

Mind you I dont know who Kojima is so this game means nothing much to me. I presume he made some sort of popular game in the past that I obviously never played.

This is not a Mr. Bean sketch, where the actor and what he does is the only thing to like or dislike. It has received dozens of awards and almost all of them were not for having Norman Reedus as Sam.

Idk, maybe you'll like him more after trying the game? The acting is great, the game is like a movie at times. And he's not the selling point for the game, there's much more to the game than that. He's just a plus because he's a pretty good actor along with the others in the game. Maybe he's a reason to buy the game for some but, he's not the game.. he's just a part of it.

Then you don't play it? Just like you won't watch any movies with an actor you don't like. Not every single person in the world has to play it or like it. Plenty did.

Arguably Kojima is more famous than Reedus. Not that it's a competition of course.

I guess i'm getting old and the young ones haven't heard of Metal Gear...

BTW./ If you don't like the actor you don't buy it.. why is this a concern for you? Do you get royalties from sales?

Young ones lol. They the ones that will have heard of him. I've never owned a Playstation or any other console. I've been gaming since the ZX81 came out lol.

Watch The Boondock Saints. Reedus is great in that and it's one of my favorite movies. Probably because I've got Irish in my family.

If you don't like Norman Reedus then this game won't do much to change your mind, at least from what I have seen so far, personally I got this game more out of morbid curiosity, only played 3 hours but not sure whether or not I would recommend it, need to play a little bit more to give it a fair shake

not a fan of his, it didn't bother me in game.

he does fine though. Just think his performance is overrated...its not bad. Its fine. There are a few more impactful performances. But he did have a lot of screen time with important, even if subtle moments that were needed.
