Monster Energy is the reason I will not buy this game

I think Death Stranding is a new form of art in gaming. Some people say it is a masterpiece, others hate it. So far I saw a about 2 hours of the game and I really like what Mr. Kojima is trying to tell in his game. He wants to connect the world with ladders. It is one of the most interesting projects in video game history and he has my respect for that. But I am still not going to buy it! I simply cant support a game with such a penetrant use of commercials inside the game. I mean Monster Energy is included in the gameplay. We are talking about a game in an apocalyptic world. Everything is dead. But our hero has to drink monster energy?

You can now say, it is a very stupid reason not to buy the game because of this. But I think ads like this have no place in art. If this would be a FIFA Game or whatever, I would not care. But Mr Kojima, your game is supposed to be a masterpiece. I am sure there is also a lot of blame on capitalism in this game. So why did you decide to add Monster Energy to Death Stranding?

Imagine a Picasso Painting full with commercials.
Or imagine movies like 2001 Space Odyssey full with commercials.

I really hope other gaming companies will not follow this trend. Or we will see coca cola in the new roman empire assassins creed. Or maybe Link will drive a Porsche in the next Zelda game.

The day this happens, gaming will be dead.
