505games deliberately did that, check their previous published game Control exclusived on EGS.This time Death Stranding producer don't allow it, so 505games sets the game price much higher on steam than EGS in alomost every single region, disgusting.

lol no. The difference is absurd while the base US / EU price is the same between both stores. In fact, the BRL price on EGS which was way cheaper got 'fixed' to match Steam's price so there's a chance that EGS prices will be the same as Steam once they catch up.

It's just 505 not caring about regional pricing at all.

Pretty sure the publisher decides the price, maybe wait until closer to release, I think Steam will take note of this and do something against it. They already showed that they don't want publishers marketing their games on Steam with the intention of releasing it somewhere else

It looks like it's the same price in Canada and the US - $60 USD, which is about $80 CAD.

It's the publisher that sets the pricing on Steam. It sounds like they haven't set regional pricing yet for Steam. That might change before release, which is maybe around 6 months away. The game was just listed, so they might not have thought to do everything just yet.
