I just softlocked myself! 99%

After wormbossfight on second floor you are in location with locked door after witch is rival 2. The problem is that the exit is hook on first floor which means that once you leave there is no exit from that location. I have backtracked wormbossfight location but since I only had charged shot and shockwave i couldn't enter any new location. The last save was befor wormbossfight entrance but going bak was locked so I just repeated everything with the door open and boss defeated, but the hook is on other side... this leaves me with nothing since this is the only way to continue as other floors from elevetor that is there give me nothing.
Is there a way to get back and if not.
Devs please change something about this hook since it feel and propably is a softlock which leaves me with start new game for no reason or wait for a miracle.

You have to use the teleport bullet to get onto the opposite platforms, i think.

I don't have this upgrade neighter do I know where to get it or if I can in this situation but I you tell my and that will be solution I will be thankfull.

Just checked all avaible locations and
floor 2 needs this upgrade to do anything
same for floor 3
floor 4 i only for hp up
and floor 1 exit is locked because hook is on other side
This really needs a fix.

I'm softlocked in the same way. I backtracked wormbossfight before getting teleport bullet and now I'm stuck at the top elevator with no way to progress on any floor.

I thought I might've got myself out of it by doing the timed-switch puzzle on the top-right of the third floor, which is possible to do with perfect movement even without teleport bullet. But then I get softlocked at the end of the arena fight with the robots and target dummies (the battle music continues and the doors don't open even after everything is dead.)

If I understand correctly the path with time swith doesn't require time bullet, since with power on, fans will push you and with dashing you can get there like you said witout teleport upgrade. Unfortunately for you me and anyone else after enemy-spawn-room is hp up and you get back to the room with spining fire. You might have just missed a robot somwhere during fight or encountered a bug. Anyway we are still stuck.

Are you playing the Steam version? We are aware there's a softlock problem in the consoles which will soon be patched.
If it is the Steam version, can you send me screenshots of your maps so I can understand better?

I think this is a bug, the ambush room shouldn't trigger if you are still in the dark in floor 3.
Even if you finish this, it will only give you an optional HP upgrade and it is not the way to progress. I'll add this to the next patch.
If you can, show me the maps to help you progress or look for bugs.

Have you tried going the other way around to the elevator on the right side where the hook is? Going down in the bottom right section of floor 1. There shouldn't be any one way doors in the way.

Have you tried going the other way around to the elevator on the right side where the hook is? Going down in the bottom right section of floor 1. There shouldn't be any one way doors in the way.

I can't get to this elevator, one path requires telepor and second is one time entry door so the only way to leave is hook after boosfight but it's now on other side.

Huh. That's strange. I'm finding the same issue to be true. The overlay is active and displaying fps but the screenshot shortcut isn't functioning. Weird.

Np lol. I thought perhaps it was the key being internally bound to something else or disabled so I tried changing the shortcut to all the other F keys in Steam, and even a couple of random letter keys, but no dice. The fps overlay is working and Shift+Tab still brings up the Steam interface fwiw.

The begining of this path to elevetor is the EXACT spot that is locked because the hook is on other side!
