Are there spiders in the game?

Like a lot of people I dont like the spiders and I want to know are there spiders in the game?

A long time ago, the game used to let you fight spiders. After a while, I noticed that some people really are afraid of spiders, and I totally understand that.
So I've decided to kick off spiders from this game. It's spider-free now :)

Anyway, I understand, there are much good game that include spiders. And a lot of these not contain arachnafobia mode.

Thanks for this post, it made me not want to buy this. What the hell, a Halloween themed horror game without spiders because someone might get offended? I'm not going to support such trends in gaming.

Arachnafobia exists and some cases are super heavy, this is just a nice gest from the dev for those people, it's not a "trend", just empathy, reminds me of what some studios do for colorblind people in their games settings.

Although, i'd expect there to be some switch in the settings which allow us to fight spiders if we want to, like a "Arachnafobia mode" as Misterbates the Kraken says, i'd love that.

I'll buy this now cuz i want it since before its releaze and to support such nice dev.

Yes, clearly that was the main point of the post. That's why it was last on the list. You also aren't the only that one can't seem to spell arachnophobia, so try to keep in mind that not everything is about you.

I have arachnophobia. Spiders in games gross me the hell out. Badly. Hell I have been playing Everquest, and even the giant spiders in there give me pause. Lol.

However, there is no reason to take them out of the game just because I get freaked out by them. It's a game. The spiders aren't going to crawl out of my monitor and attack me.

People need to learn to separate reality from a video game, and if they can't, that's on them.

you deleted spiders instead of giving an option ? what about other people phobia then ?
