When we create legislation a pop-up showing how many votes it is likely to get in committee, on the floor, and if it would get vetoed would be extremely useful.
Actually it would be great if there were options for repeating actions in campaigns, too. It can be burdensome to constantly micromanage campaign activities like opening and closing field offices. The same goes for granting or denying hearings for bills when your player is the committee chairman. It seems the same bills get brought up every year, you know? An option to permanently deny a bill a hearing would be grand.
I don't like this idea... it spoils the excitement and anticipation of sponsoring a bill. I really resist this as you should have to sponsor a bill to find out.
+1
Also I think it would be awesome to add Lieutenant Governors to the game as well, Every gubernatorial candidate that makes it to the general election should pick a Lt. Governor. In addition, it would be awesome for you to be nominated as a Lt. Governor. It could add another level of being able to propel your career forward. Thanks for for your time and tank you for tis wonderful game!!!
Sort of relating this to committees as well, maybe having relations with other politicians would make them more likely to pick you for roles like VP or offer/trade you spots on certain committees. Even politicians can make friends!
In general, I felt like there isn't enough legislative activity. After Week 5 or 6, legislation stops coming. Especially as the chairman, I should be getting pummeled with requests for legislation, hearings, judicial confirmations, etc. (You've mentioned several of these things coming and, with legislative expansion, some of this will happen naturally anyway, I imagine). But, increasing the amount of work that one has to do each week other than events would be very important. On non-election years, I find myself speeding through weeks 20-40 regularly (sometimes earlier!). But this is great. Well done.
