Incumbent not seeking reelection?

Is there a way for you to see if the current incumbent is seeking reelection or not? I want my Protege to win positions and I want to give them the best chance possible by assigning them to districts where incumbents are not seeking reelection.

On week 2 of an election year, you can go to the districts tab and it will say if the incumbent is not seeking reelection.

For example, if you want to see which senators are not running for reelection, you would go to the Politicians > Federal > Senate > Districts tab (on week 2). That tab shows party demographics for each state/district. If an incumbent is not running for reelection, it will say "Incumbent is not seeking reelection this year" under the relevant state.

Thanks a lot. Also I wanted to ask that is there a way that I can send my Protege to run for positions in other states?

It is possible to move your protege to a new state given the following conditions:
1) They cannot currently hold a political office.
2) Their next election must be set to "None".

If both of those conditions are met, you can select the "Move" button and choose a new state for your protege. Once you have moved your protege to a new state, you can select the Next Election button and choose a position.
