Cheat City Treasury?

I am a mayor of a city. On week 2, I cannot 'Submit Budget' because "the city treasury budget should be greater than or equal to 0." I really like the current adjustment so is there anyway to cheat city treasury value? I just want to experiment and explore this game.

I am able to give myself personal funds through the 'Advanced' tab and it is easier to win any elections, but there seems to be no way to change the 'city treasury' value. Cheat Engine 6.7 doesn't work. Can't I just donate personal funds to city treasury just like I am able to with my campaign funds?

Nope. In the city Treasury you'll either have to increase taxes or decrease spending - or both

If you set taxes absurdly high in one year, like put it all to max to fill up the city treasury, and then put it back to normal the next year, do you get the approval rating back up again?

I like the idea of adding an advanced option to change the treasury amount, so that you can set the treasury amount to whatever you want. I will add that to my list of things to do.

I mean, just shunt the corporate tax up to 5 or 6 per cent, and you'll be fine. You can do this as a Democrat, in D cities, or as a Repubican in R cities or D cities. You just can't do it as a D in R cities.
