Just started the game and am finding it very fun. Curious about mods. Would it be possible to mod real politicians into the game? Would be fun to run against current politicians. Thanks!

It is possible to customize any politicians in the game. When you start a new game there is an option to Allow Character Customization. If you set this to True, you will be allowed to customize any politician. In the politicians tab, each politician will have a Customize button in their summary tab. If you click that button, it will bring up a menu to customize the politician.

If you have already started a game, you can open the menu, click the Advanced Options button, click the Politicians tab and change Allow Character Customization to true. This will also allow you to customize elections. You can go to the elections tab and click the Customize tab.

You can save individual candidates as presets once you are in the character customization menu. You can save entire groups of presets by going to the Advanced Options/Politicians tab and clicking Save Preset under the relevant group. These can be loaded into any game.
