I'm not really a fan of this option though.
Seems like the jumps between them are absolutely massive, especially Easy to Very Easy. In some election runs, its seriously hard to even win on Easy (especially in deep red states for example when running state-wide) but Very Easy just straight up puts me between 60-70% and its just not something Im a fan of.
I wish the game had a mode that brings more realism. For example, California democrats are more progressive than let's say PA democrats and would have different priorities. It's hard to go through the settings and edit every state. Also, different states have different attitudes towards race. Traits: I'd argue that corruption, charisma, and intelligence would have a greater influence on one voting than other traits. Republicans also care less if a candidate is "mean" or is not "empathetic".
I love the game but it seems like a huge project to go in and edit this all. I would do it accurately and use polling data etc if I was being paid. If you want pay me a few hundred dollars and I will go through the game state by state and create different advance presets.
