Currently there are no cheats in the game, but I plan on adding them in a future update. Hopefully I will be able to add them soon, but right now I am still working of eliminating bugs.

Alright Thanks maybe you should add them in Januray or December.

Mess with advanced settings. It's basically cheating if you know what you are doing.

Simple:

C:\Users\AppData\Local\the_political_process\User Data\Default\saveFiles\campaignSaves\YourSavedGame.json

Edit whatever you want.
CTRL + F and search for the precise number you want to edit. Then save and load your saved game.

I would not recommend changing save files. Trying to read the save files would be difficult and it could also be dangerous (in terms of accidentally changing something that could produce an error). You could change advanced options to make the game easier (although, since they are "advanced" options, changing them could have strange, unpredictable results). I plan on adding cheats and possibly easy modes in future updates. So hopefully that will make the game more fun.

Please do...cheats/easy mode or something!

I have fooled around with the savegame file, just because I can't help myself LOL, and have found things like cash amount and even changed some of the peoples stats that I hired into my Mayoral administration. A few of the hirees were libertarian and one liberal. I wanted an all conservative cabinet. I'm not sure if just changing the ideology in the save game makes any difference in actual gameplay though.

One area I found very helpful was to change the amount of hours I had to accomplish something in the day, i.e. fundraising, legislation, rallies etc.

I still have been unable to find my approval rating in the file which is unnerving.

Approval is one of the things I could find. It's demTrust, repTrust and indTrust.

Ah... trust is approval?
