puzzle heart of mystery

I did - with retrospect - understand the 4 (+ intro) puzzles with slab. They were not obvious, they were not very user friendly but at least now that i have seen the solution to the 2 last i did, i think i will have no problem solve the two first by myself (first playthrough so for the 2 first, i found a solution because i didn't get at all what needed to be done).

But the "container with 1/3, 2/3, and full" in heart of mystery... Is there ANY ONE who legimatly found the solution?

I *THINK* the hints are the empty slabs outside the puzle. But i do not at all understand what i should see with them.

So has someone understood, and can you then explain the logic? i've already put the solution but it bothers me a lot to not understand it at all.

Yeah not very intuitive, but here is what I figured out... Slabs outside the puzzle show you which symbols are allowed in their respective row/column. It has to be only those symbols there. Slabs that have multiple symbols on them on a single slab, should have slabs with other symbols adjacent to them.

I understood those finally.

But the final (or at least the one i'm at) is not with slabs but containers with 1/3, 2/3 or full blue color.

What's the end reward for the puzzle? I've basically decided to skip this quest altogether, but I'm still curious.

From what i have, it gives 1 mask required for Nenio quest. (I'm now going to that location to end her quest.)

Edit: the mask i got has nothing to do with nenio quest. ... i missed one in the prison. f**k
