Recommendations for dual wield (two weapon) build for a hidden companion I just picked up?
So, I just picked up a unique lich companion Kestoglyr in Act 4 that I cannot find any build guides online for, guess not many people have picked him up. Wanted to include him on my team since I'm going for full evil lich.

After getting him he's a level 3 base fighter and has starting stats of 17 18 0 7 10 14 (0 con because he's undead).
He starts off with: two weapon fighting, weapon focus scimitar, power attack and double slice.

So, obvious route would just to go dual wield fighter with all the associated talents but wanted to reach out to get some suggestions on what other good builds I could go with using this. I've already got 2 characters on my team using backstab builds so I'd prefer to avoid that for the sake of variety.

You could make him dual wield using sword and shield.

Look for the feat "shield bash", you can focus on that, only issue is that it isn't a DEX build, so that 18 wouldn't be of much use.

Well improved two weapon fighting requires 17 dex minimum I believe, so that 18 dex, or 17 of it, is beneficial to have for a duel wield build.

Is there a benefit to going weapon finesse over str dual wielding? I'm not overly concerned about defense as I've got loads of lich summons that can act as meat shields to distract from my damage dealers.

and Greater Two Weapon Fighter needs 19 dex so put one point into dex at lvl 12 or 16

more light weapons have a better crit range. like Kukri can get crit range of 15-20 if you take the improved crit feat for it. most martial weapons are 17 or 18-20 after feat. also you dont have to spit points between str and dex

Shield bash and its following feats don't ask for DEX, and two weapons fighting doesn't apply to it as far as i know.

so, would it be best to just stay fighter, or would multiclassing help?

Nope, i was wrong, DEX isn't a waste and dual wield does affect it, so it wouldn't be that bad really.

According to the tooltip for shield bash in game, if you have a weapon in your main hand when shield bashing, it incurs standard two weapon fighting penalties.

I think I gave him some version of slayer levels for sneak attack. Make sure you bring him to the baphomet's labyrinth.

I havent done the build but here are main ideas:
1 level sorcerer for mage armor,
1 mythic level archmage armour
1 level monk: scaled fist for charisma armour.
All mythic double weapon feats
1 level elemental carnage
Get 2 different elemental weapons or the dragon item from sidequest to save little dragon, cant remember.
Planning to get as high AC and AR as possible with dual wield.

You can get Archmage Armor bonuses for Mage Armor just by drinking potions.

During my Lich run, I made said character into savage chomper :
- 1 scaled fist monk dip (the classic)
- 10 levels in Primalist Bloodrager, Snake bloodline (1 bite)
--- Greater Animal Totem (for the Pounce) + Mythic charge
--- Extra bite rage power
--- Mythic Second Bloodline, draconic (to unlock dragon disciple)
--- Gives you access to mage armor, with archmage armor
- 4 levels in Dragon Disciple - it gives you an extra bite attack and +4 str and +2 natural armor
- 4 levels in fighter.
- Important gear : helm from Blackwater dungeon for the horn attack
- With the stat bonus from Lich and gear, you don't really need to focus on weapon finess to do damage.
- Get all the dual wielding feats, plus

With a way to boost natural attack (either with Magic Fangs or an amulet), it's pretty effective. The guy do around 12 attacks per rounds... with pounce and mythic charge, he could wreck pretty much anything, while staying quite tanky.
