A Demon literally becomes the God of Redemption. Also Devils existed before Demons, and qlippoth and mortal soul larvae were mixed to create demons. This was done by a daemon.

Like, fr I am not trying to be mean but you speak with such confidence but almost always get everything you say about the setting wrong :p

That is also why the Crusaders have not won, since they have too many softies amongst them, to properly combat Universal Evil.
That is why the Hellknights end up saving the day, because even though they ARE EVIL, they are strong enough to fight and slaughter the demons, without mercy or any real moral thought about it (it really just boils down to either the demons winning and genociding everyone, or the mortals killing them to the last and closing the Worldwound, survival is the greatest morality), like actual Crusaders would.

Are we just going to ignore the fact that the crusaders have been fighting demons for almost a century? I'd say they (and the hellknights too) did a pretty good job of it, considering Golarion hadn't been annihilated during all that time.

The only reason they finally managed to bring the fight to the demons was the Commander and his allies gaining mythical powers, which actually gave them a fighting chance.

No they haven't and the game spells this out explicitly that they have not been doing so well.

not to mention golarion is far and wide.. i'm confident in the correctness of my claim that even new cheliax colonies don't know ♥♥♥♥ about the worldwound.

besides... demon also like to fight each others. who know how many are killing each others in the abyss while 2-3 demon lord are arguing(fighting) about keeping the wound open to rek more havoc or closing it.

we as a commander are barely a bystander lab rat that happens to be there and that's pretty much it.

the cool thing is, you can even become worse than the worldwound itself. which is neat.
erhm but yeah, hellknights are by far one of the most dangerous threat around, even Hell envy them.
