Curse of Weakness

In Gray Garisson one of mine got afflicted with curse of weakness. I happen to have a remove curse on me. I cast it, and it did not nothing. I cast Dispel Magic target on it after, still nothing. Am I missing something? How do I removed curse of weakness if remove curse is not working

When you cast remove curse, the character casting it makes a caster level check against the DC of the curse, and if the check fails, the curse is not removed. It sounds like whoever casted it failed the caster level check.

Curses and baleful polymorph are the worse, for this very reason.

Have one of your characters cast curse of weakness on the character afflicted by the curse. Once it sticks, cast remove curse on the cursed character, the caster level check should be easier.
