For anyone unaware, there is no 'THE' vampire king' in Pathfinder. Hel even the flavor text 'descendents of the vampire king are rare in the extreme and drawn to a singular purpose' lol, you simply have to be unaware of vampire hunter D itself to miss it the connections, or just unaware that there is no vampire king progenitor in golarion.
During the Lich path, you can find out from one of the highlighted lore texts with your unique advisors, that the country one of them hails from is ruled over by a Vampire Queen.
Thank you for making this awesome game! If you guys do another it would be cool to play as a monster like a Vampire or something!
Zura, the "vampire queen" is in fact a demon lord. https://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Zura
Of course your advisors conveniently don't tell you that she is literally a demon in the abyss and just brag about how they live in peace with humans. Aren't they from Ustalav or Cheliax? Those places are literally gothic horror settings you would never want to live in.

Again, bravo to Paizo for including this tiny detail for the few who would catch it. shows lots of love in their craft.
