Didn't know you can relinquish control to Ygefeles. I told Woljif to take the power for himself and he decided that he'd be better off without his grandfather. Maybe it's based on previous choices?
I've got so many different stuff already, so it's debatable.
There is a mention of this decision in the ending slides though, so you'll likely get a different ending for him depending on which choice you make here.
To me it looks like he's become more happy. At least his behavior is now way more confident and even insolent. At least toward enemies and those who aren't in party. That scene with Iomedae and Nocticula was pretty illustrative, I'd say. And the way he talked to Baphomet...
I think his ending card may be bugged in the ascension ending, as it uses the description and picture as if he rejected the power, instead of accepting it.
