"Helping" someone by sending him the heart of mystery... debatable at best !
You don't need to wait for level up, what I did is create a new char. Currently in act 5, chose 20 levels in Rogue, picked everything with "Perception", putting on some items to increase Perception and Wis. Ended up with +60 to Perception. Guessing less can do it. Wen't there and it imidetly popped up on the map.
Your armies can also scout out these places.
But yes, the map system in this game is something for sure.
