INVINCIBLE AUGMENTED ENEMIES IN BLACKWATER

How the hell do I kill these guys? they went down and I am trying to finish them off with coup of grace, but nothing works, they just stay down taking infinite amount of damaage, am I missing something to do?

No worries I didn't get it at first either I fig I might have skipped some text or something.

In anycase I do reccomend to keep this level as one of the last things to do so your leveled up a bit in that chapter or get somekind of caster with a good amount of communal resist energy and lightning spells to push trough it.

If you used the insepct tool from the bottom left menu to see the stats of teh augmented enemies you would see they have have Regen 10/Electricity.

This means they are nigh unkillable unless you hit them with a lightning energy attack/spell/weapon due to their massive CON score after you down em as thats the only thing that disables it.

Thankfully the enemies in this place tends to drop a lot of Electricity enchanted weapons you can use but that can still be rather nasty unless yo have some lightning spells to toss around early on to get said weapons.

one of those times where the tutorial popups helped me immensely, as it tells you to look for this at this specific encounter.

The very first enemies you kill in the zone drop 2 shock longsword you can then use to prevent the regen on the rest of the place. Try thinking why youre given certain things at a certain time like that other certain basement with a scroll of see invisibility in it.

some of the augmented demons you have to coup de grace because even though it says you need electricity or adamantine to break the regen, some of them still have their demon electricity immunity

Disintegrate, Lv 6, transmutation school, arcane spell.

This spell can finish every single enemy in black water base.

Yeah, these enemies are some next level ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. They have regeneration that can only be disabled with electric damage, they have high spell resistance meaning you are unlikely to even be able to disable their regen with spells, you basically need a 20 to even damage them and they can deal a buttload of damage as well. I've tried everything and I just cannot get by the lava chamber no matter what I do.

when you kill stauntan vaile or whatever hes called. he drops an ademantine glaive.
when they go down and keep regenerating use that to kill them. It is the only adamantine weapon i have found.

Also inspect the enemies and read what the tooltip say if you have trouble with certain abilities. learn their weakness. the answer is in the cyborg smt ability. So they must be killed with lighting or adamantine, but unless you got ascended element lightning you need the adamantine weapon since some of them are at the same time immune to lightning from their demonic nature.

No, their regeneration is canceled out by electricity. Which I interpret as you overloading their machinery or something like that.

Try to lure them into the path of the tesla coils, if you can. But stocking up on Lightning Bolt and Shocking Grasp may be good, too.

lmao I did this level last night and realized none of my companions took a single electric spell in their auto levels.

Screams of frustration until I finally lowed everything to its lowest setting and cleared that nightmare, I ran out of casts on the lightning wands it gave me because there are far more enemies than charges pff

Well, lightning bolt pierces through enemies in a line. You can hit more than one target, if you position yourself right.

Well, lightning bolt pierces through enemies in a line. You can hit more than one target, if you position yourself right.

I usually just used it to finish them off once they were on the ground cuz I wasn't sure if there was a limit to how long the regen stopped.

I havent got this far yet, but one of the witch/shamans hexes temporary removes all elemental immunity from a target if they fail their save and it bypasses SR. Ember starts with this, have you tried using it in case it works?

As a lich this is the most fun area i've been in yet. I've rested here once and between both rests I now have an army of repairing augments following my party around. I definitely went here too early and I regret nothing! :D

This place is just absurd. Even with cheats enabled, some of the fights were challenging. It would take hours or days and the patience of the Pope to complete this level without cheats. What is the point of this? Is this some kind of Russian plot to driver gamers slowly insane...?
