Unique Deity Differences

[B Unit]

Not sure if any other place has started compiling changes but feel free to add yours.

Abadar - You can get Horgus Gwerm to give you more money for escorting him without a diplomacy check. You can convince the mongel merchant Dyra to worship Abadar. Some extra dialogue with Hellknights.

Pharasma - She will curse you if you take the lich wand (-4 WIS). If you destroy it she will be pleased (no benefit that I can see). I assume going the lich mythic path while worshipping her would be challenging.

Desna - Some minor dialogue changes in the Hulrun / Desna clerics feud in Market Square. Some minor text changes when meeting Arue for the first time.

Saraenae - Up to chapter 3 I believe there was only one fluff dialogue option when speaking to an NPC - I can't remember what it was about.

Trying to remember this correctly, but if you take Cayden Cailean you get a special dialogue option related to him that gives you a buff during the act 1 attack on the tavern.

All I've gotten out of Irori is a line during the Hellknights quest.

Gozreh - You get a unique dialogue option when assaulting Leper's Smile in Act 2 to pray to them and get a 1 hour duration buff. Don't know what it did since it didn't have a tooltip.

During lich path Urgathoa followers came to side with me and preach to me , and had unique options for me also following her

I've got Zon-Kuthon as my deity. It pops up once or twice in dialogue, mainly when I'm sympathising with evil characters.

Lamashtu will be pleased with you, if you decide to collect Vescavore slime in Leper's Smile, and will be even more pleased with you, if you choose to let the queen live after taking Drezen.

She will be very angry with you, however, if you choose to kill the queen. So I guess Lamashtu is on board with you going down the Swarm that Walks path?

Callista- You can swear vengance in Callista's name during the final fight in act 2 and she'll cover your entire party in capes of wasps. (was very cool) In Act 3 you can mention your goddess when forgiving Arushalae for something she cons you into doing.

Torag- Can invoke his name for the Defender's Inn fight and he'll put a protective buff on you. Can also use him in various dialogues with the Dwarf Brothers, Jorag & Staunton.

Choosing Godclaw, you can have multiple dialogues about having the best of five gods with a couple of characters. One of them was checking whether Yaker was legit or not when he calls for help by testing his knowledge.

Urgathoa _ So far all I have got from her was when I took the wand and when I agreed to become a Litch with Zacharia a saw a Death Head Moth showing me that Urgathoa was pleased with my choices.

Iomedae : There's quite a few in act 1, mostly with Seelah, also I was able to upgrade Radiance early although that might have been because I was a paladin. I'm surprised how few there have been since then. Hopefully once act 5 kicks off.

Abadar: I had a special dialogue with the cleric of Abadar who becomes a ghoul in Act 2, he sort of snaps out of it for a bit.

Shelyn - gets you some dialog with Sosiel both in camp, and during the jaunt in the graveyard in Chapter 2
Atheist - gets you some dialog with Ember in camp about how it's going to be atheists like you and her that solve the problem of the worldwound not any god.

I am already loving this topic, despite I cannot contribute anything new. I thought some events are just supposed to happen like that without any relation to you worshipping said deity or not. At those times I just thought: damn - this game is soo awesome with the details!

Atheist in chapter 1 lets you confuse the hell out of a succubus that tries to get you to worship her in the most amusing way possible.

If you destroy the lich wand then later you will receive a buff when facing a lot of undead and gargoyles at the Lost Chapel. I don't have a save handy to consult to share the details, but as I recall it was a nice buff.

Atheists also automatically resist the succubus in Gray Garrison, since you don't care if she looks like a god or not.

The best atheist option is in Act 5, though. You can straight up tell Iomedae that you don't give a crap about her
