Mythic path lore dilemma
[EDIT: SPOILERS: DONT READ the chosen answer if you don't wanna get spoil like i did]

Please help me choosing a mythic path for my bloodrager melee 2h :

- angel : way too loyal good generic to me but spells look good
- aeon : seems rather cool rp but the spells / skills look boring af
- azata : too hipster ? and dragon indoors wtf ?

=> this is gonna be my only run, im veeeery slow. Im more intersted by the story rather than minmaxing

Chaotic Good isn't hippy nature lovers. That would be Neutral Good route. Which is seriously what the Gold Dragon path in this game is about. Like, when you retake Drezen for the second time and choose the Gold Dragon dialog option, you actually convince some of the Demons to just put down their weapons and go home, rethinking their life choices.

Chaotic Good is more about taking the law into your own hands, and doing things that the rest of society may not agree with in order to uphold it. Which is what the Azata, who embody the spirit of freedom and adventure strive to accomplish. If you read their lore section, it says they don't believe that evil can be defeated through any kind of ordered structure or campaign. They confront evil on a case by case basis, showing up wherever they feel they are needed, and then leaving once the immediate problem has been dealt with.

In that regard, they're like super heroes. If somebody starts causing major problems, they'll show up to help bring them down. But when it comes to ensuring that such a problem doesn't happen again, the Azata leaves that for others to figure out.

As for the retaking of Drezen, all I said was that you retake it a second time. I did not provide any in depth revelations about the circumstances of how / why you do so. So calm down and go enjoy your game.

Feeling really sorry for OP that he run into that guy, he obviously doesnt give a damn.
thank for your support, sorry for my language, but i was so hype to play the game in my free time, its only thing that makes me happy lately, and i know it seems whiny but really knowing that what you are conquering for the whole time is gonna fall and have to be retaken again is killing it for me

Because you didn't ask for Gold Dragon... you asked for Angel, Aeon, Azata.

And if you didn't know that Gold Dragon was a path option, then you clearly haven't been keeping up to date with the game at all, since it was announced on their kickstarter as one of the stretch goals, and there are lots of topics on the forums which specifically talk about Gold Dragon.

Because you didn't ask for gold dragon... you asked for Angel, Aeon, Azata.

Obviously i know about the path, but i have no idea how to unlock it BECAUSE I AM AT CHAPTER 2 little stupid jerk. youre jsutifying yourself as a spoielr saying i havent been keeping up with he game ?

Dont't apologise. I understand. I would be pissed as well. It happened with no provocation and not even spoiler warning . But once again , there is much more to the story so he didnt manage to ruin everything , you will still be able to enjoy stuff. I would suggest to stop reading him just in case he spoils mere out of spite though. He obviously does not care

just disapear, i'll make sure everyone knows how stupid you are, trying to hide behind poor justifications. you spoiled the fall of Drezen and retaking it over to someone asking for an advice between 3 options in act 2, thats it.

I've seen Azata described as the 'Friendship is Magic' path, and can see why. There's a superpower literally called lifebonding friendship, you get a cute dragon companion that's surprisingly powerful, your court is pretty much the 'Bunny Ears Lawyer' trope personified. Heck, you even have a high level attack spells that fires rainbow lasers at your enemies.

By all means, please keep swearing at me and calling me insults. I've already reported your comments, and I've seen people getting slapped with bans in the past for far less offensive behavior than what you're currently demonstrating.

Takes the mod team a few days to respond, but I don't expect we'll be hearing from you again for at least 2 weeks.

For what it is worth I mentioned all this in my report to you. Because your behaviour in this post is disgusting . You ruined the fun of this guy and now try to play victim and pretend the high ground

I didn't provoke ♥♥♥♥. He saw one little spoiler about act 4 and has severely overreacted to it. Telling me to 'disappear' and threatening to harm my standing among the rest of the forum community. As well as calling me insults and swearing at me.

This doesn't come across as the behavior of somebody who is mad about having act 4 'ruined' for them. It comes across as the actions of somebody who needs to seek counseling for their anger management problems.

I said you retake Drezen in act 4, and you

1 - Told me to disappear

2 - Tried to befriend me, which considering that I have my profile so only friends can comment, I assume it was just so you could flame / troll my comment section. I already had somebody else pull that stunt.

3 - Repeatedly swore at me, while calling me names.

4 - Made an entire topic for the sole purpose of naming and shaming me. which, by the way, is against Steam rules. I got perma banned from BG3 forums for making a topic that called out a hacker in multiplayer. So you just made a huge mistake with that one.

SO yeah, I'm going to say you're over reacting...
