Seriously, please remember to do your licenses

Licenses are a set of tutorials that, when completed, unlocks new (and more importantly, more challenging) maps. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO 3 STAR EVERY LEVEL TO GET THE LICENSE.

There are three licenses at the moment, and they unlock a bit more than a dozen new maps. The 1 star threshold of every level are super easy, unlocking all three licenses should take no more than 20 minutes.

This. I thought it was just a training mode until I checked the time trials. The game really needs to put more emphasis on licenses. I liked the game but I hated the initial tracks so much.

Having to drive licenses is the biggest crap in any racing game

It takes about an hour to do all of them, not 20 minutes. Many people are also not at the skill level required to beat the licenses as well. Someone I know said that only 6% of players have beaten L3. Not sure where they got that number from though.

When you get achievements in this game, it gives you a percentage for how many players have it. The achievement for the L3 license is currently at 6%

Few people know there are licenses, few people know you need them to unlock tracks, and few people know how to set up races with more complex tracks. I think the game is not clear about it.

I played last night with people who have +1000 in Rocket LEague, Dota2 and/or PUBG and none of them knew nothing about any of that.

Duel 3 is pretty difficult tho. I managed to three star every challenge but I can't for the life of me even win, let alone 3 star, Duel 3. Guess I'll just have to get better online first.

Are those unlocked maps instantly available for multi or just for Speed Attack?

Yet for multi, you would need to remember to untick the easy tracks if you want to run on more interesting ones. If not you will still run a lot of those easy ones.

I could be miss remembering, but I think every duel there is a moment where they crash or take a corner wrong near end of last lap, wait for that to win. i agree raising the stars to 3 hard af tho.

My answer is nope. not crappy at all. Best decision ever.

At least it filters out with who you play if you select higher maps. because as of today I have been matched with really really bad drivers / players on easy tracks.
It wasn't that bad yesterday or the day before.
At least it's fun to play with better players on difficulty 2 & 3 tracks.

Now could it be clearer thatif you want better tracks you have to do those ? yes.
But I'm glad they did this

the small boosts ?
That one is dumb indeed, and not very good at teaching you anything.
Just make sure you don't rush, and do small drifts with counter steering to activate boost

Also make sure that if that's the one you need to do it once right, once left, once right, rinse & repeat. That was so unclear to me at first.

Thing is they put you on that roundabout (again that was probably the dumbest possible way to teach you), and you tend to always steer on one side once you are into it.

Idk why the game doesnt have a huge text with this information on main menu, idk even know why maps are behind licences, just let us unlock them by winning matches, i cant get any match with a lvl 2 map

The problem its most of us didnt have idea about this, i knew about this by reading a comment here yesterday. Everybody its just playing the lvl 1 tracks.
