Amazing, gorgeous, hilarious ... Did you ever consider "playing" audio-books?
https://ibb.co/Z6Y4xZr
I mean seriously, if you can't see the full screen message, then you are obviously blind, and it's far less obvious, why anybody blind would ever want to play a video-game.
How you're supposed to notice this one?
https://ibb.co/XjKN9GR
... and when the blind play video-games. 😆 😅 😂 🤣 🥲
And stop calling me blind, I didn't insult you in any way, so there's no need for that, unless you want me to report your post...
You are free to report whom you want for whatever you want. The fact stays that the message was there from the first day on and on whatever language you play.
But, one can always blame the developers or make shaders responsible. 😉
Somebody always has to be responsible at the end of the day, isn't it?
Jesus, the hostility against some one asking a question. Hope your in a better place in 2024.
Just remember to open your eyes and read what's on the screen, and you'll find your place in 2024 and even beyond. And ... you won't have to wonder how to save your game, or why you can't interact with objects because they're only partially displayed, ...
Yeah, you need help bro
You need help.
#1:
Me included, installed it a few hours ago.
@Qiana
And maybe you were having a bad day or bad year or bad life, or even having some psychological problems? Still doesn't qualify your behavior.
Don't worry about my mental state, but rather check your own.
There was a simple question "How do I save my progress?", and it was simply answered in #1 and #2: "It saves automatically at predefined points, and it shows the icon when it's doing so".
Again:
There is no point in continuing to discuss how it works.
There is no point in continuing to discuss how do you know what the game does.
A few days ago, I wanted to check out a 10 year old computer (AMD A10-7800) that was considered bad when it was brand new. I wanted to see how it would behave with Windows 11, and I wanted to know if it could still be used to play at least some games on this IGP (integrated graphics / no dedicated graphics card).
The very first thing the player sees is a warning message.
https://ibb.co/ZSTnvFj
The message reads:
Message: This system does not meet the minimum video memory requirements of the game. At least 2GB VRAM required. Gameplay experience may be affected.
After that, you'll see an information message and then the following "super-tiny" text message with animation:
https://ibb.co/5Bkx795
Dieses Spiel speichert automatisch, wenn dleses Symbol angezeigt wird. Bitte schließe das Spiel nicht, während es sichtbar ist.
This game saves automatically when this symbol is displayed. Please do not close the game while it is is visible.
Soon the game will start connecting and loading (see animation below right).
https://ibb.co/2jpHLZm
Later in the game, between scenes, while the game is loading, you'll see the "Tiny Walker" walking again. This was the case in 2020, 2021 ... and it is still the case in 2024.
2021: https://ibb.co/Jkj1vx3
2024: https://ibb.co/9yvtr2P
Whenever the game autosaves, the book will be displayed. Just as I told you, as Jaunitta showed you, and as you can see in every YouTube video.
https://ibb.co/0D4nNJX
That's how it works for over 355'000 players on Steam.
P.S.
Someone will always have a problem. The game will not save, the phantom "cobler bug" or whatever, but not because of the problem with the game, but because of the problem with the player and his rare individual case. It's always been that way, and it always will be that way.
Remember the overscan problem in LIS? Literally the first thing the game tells you to do is adjust your screen size, but still a lot of people end up on the forums asking (again and again--instead of using the forum search, or even better, just reading and following the text on the screen) why XYZ isn't displayed properly.
It was your attitude in general, obviously.
The Steam Community is the absolute pits, it's easily the most toxic gamer community so you get away with it, but some users won't tolerate it.
I absolutely agree that the Steam community is the absolute pits and definitely the most toxic gamer community.
A simple question "How do I save my progress?", and answer in #1: "It saves automatically at predefined points, and it shows the icon when it's doing so".
A simpler and more polite answer than mine was hardly possible.
