Not to mention CS:GO (especially without Prime).
I do get why you posted the video - but it´s nothing new, nor is it the "worst" - just some usual stuff in it. For the Anti-Cheat: I don´t know if the game got one - and I don´t exactly believe everyone who states there would be none (can be true, can be wrong - most of them don´t reverse and therefore only do their callouts based on their opinion, not on facts).
But I highly doubt that it´s of interest anyway - as the game is running on a quite old engine (World of Tanks Engine to be more specific) with most exploits already known.
However, I haven´t met a cheater so far - I know that they do exist (as they always do) but I haven´t met one during the 60 hours I played.
But on the other Hand: I wouldn´t recommend the game to anyone solely due to how the gameplay on itself is (especially the movement behaviour) - and judging by the fact that the devs said "Yeah this is good enough to release it to the public".. I doubt that it´s going to change anytime soon (if ever).
Edit: Also nice alt-account.
First of all, the game has zero anti cheat! They are good at developing the game but
zero gaming security experts on the developers team or too cheap to integrate anti-cheat on
their own game. Cheaters are everywhere in this game. Look on the PVP board. 350 kills, 0 deaths. 1200 kills, 200 deaths.
You have entire days ruin by cheaters in the PVP campaign because no one will play PVP on those days the cheaters are cheating. These cheaters do not need to be extremes. Aimbot and ESP alone gives you great advantage in this game and in any game.
If they are too lazy to implement anti-cheat, they could at least track these new accounts to see who gave them the AKS74U and Roubles. At least make the cheater farm the AKS74U themselves before getting the ban! You find the people who are supplying the cheaters with the guns and you find the cheaters themselves. Cant say much about the TOZ-34 out of bounds cheaters. That gun too easy to get for any cheater!
But to be fair aswell: They ain´t good at developing the game. Most of the stuff is simply taken from sZone (now called Anomaly Zone) - download it from steam (it´s free aswell) and run around a bit, im sure you´ll recognize the map you´re starting in already - aswell as later maps with minor changes.
What they did add themselves is buildings with endless loading screens aswell as a new movement system and a few mechanics - all that while maintaining the same spawns which were made for complete different mechanics.
If you call that mess good developement - then you can´t be helped. As of now it´s already questionable if they even got the rights to basically re-release the game of another company.
Well they did a good job on that part but are failing now by not having an anti-cheat!
Stalker Online (or Stay Out) is a pirated version of sZone, there also had been a lawsuit about it, after they tried to get rid of sZone on Steam a few years ago - which backfired hardly as sZone had all licenses while Stalker Online didn´t.
Just something to think about.
But gameplay wise it stays the same: sZone/Anomaly Online may have dated gameplay and graphics, but the mechanics on their own play as they should, Stalker Online/Stay Out on the other Hand got a few own changes, but it simply doesn´t feel like the mechanics are in nature with the gameplay itself.
The Truth is it did used to be a single project, there was a lot of drama and the project split, both appeared to have a legal claim to the game data, so it was unresolved.
I had many years in SZO and had many negative interactions with the developers there, and i know many many people who had similar and worse experiences also.
As for gameplay, SZO has by far, inferior game mechanics, the fortnite bunny hopping gunplay is absolute garbage when compared to SO's gun handling and movement.
SZO focused on a complex skill system, while SO completely reworked what was most important at the time, character movement/animations and gun handling/mechanics.
Hopefully soon we will have a new skill system delivered.
Same game, one is complete rubbish while the other has huge promise.
And to be fair: I don´t see alot of promising stuff in both games - both aren´t good games either - while sZone/Anomaly Zone has dated gameplay - it fits the playstyle the gameplay builds upon. Stay Out got reworked mechanics - which don´t fit the base design of the game world well unless reworked to a proper state (which it should be after those years).
And no - the legal claim wasn´t unresolved:
That´s about how much you can find about it. - As far as I heard, both of them settled in the end - which allows it to be on steam - if it ain´t true, it´s just a matter of time until it´s going to be off steam.
