This is how your armour progression should look like, the other armours like 6B1, M1952, PASGT-V, 6B4, 6B12 and 6B13 are either worse than the ones I listed above, or more expensive, with so little extra armour, that they are not worth the money, compared to what they give you.
PASGT-V and 6B4 are maybe okay if you run artifacts, since you can get quite a high amount of belt slots with them, especially if you combine PASGT-V with the paratrooper vest, pocketed pants and the protective jacket.
The overall "best" armours in my opinion, at least in terms of versatility and price, are the 6B5 and 6B11-3, they offer good protection, for a decent price, especially 6B5, although be warned, that 6B5 can't let you equip the RD-54 backpack, since it takes up the vest slot.
6B1 is a joke gimmic, since it's only available from a market pack but is worse than 6B2, M1952 is not very good, compared to even 6B2 (less protection), 6B12 is very expensive for marginally more protection, compared to 6B11-3, and 6B13 is also a lot more expensive (170kk was the last price I saw) for marginally better stats than the way cheaper 6B11-3.
I suggest you visit the wiki for even more infos (thanks Vor_tex)
