How do you unlock the point shop?
NPC says that the shopkeeper is at the inn somewhere, but I can't find him.
Is it story locked? I beat the first tower so far.

He tells you about the Tanuki shop below the Inn, There is a set of stairs on the left side if you go down there and buy a "lot" (the story one costs 30 Gitan) he will be back in the store.

I didn't see him in the lower part of the hotel either, but talk to the folk downstairs at the hotel and then check back at the Point Shop.

Point shop is super important: Only costs 70 for Undo Grass which will guarantee you don't lose all your stuff when you croak. That and Synthesis Pot (400 pts.) are the things I buy the most so far.

Kinda disapointed that it's so easy to keep your items in this game.
I expected to be using different items every run 😅

Yeah, I'm having a blast but overall this is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY easier than Shiren DS. Undo Grass is godly, Escape Scrolls send you and all your things back safely too, Revive Herbs brings you back to life, etc. And if you DO happen to somehow lose they still give you both item tags and even a lost and found for items that aren't tagged to potentially appear.

I don't think there are any Storehouse Jars this time around so maybe that's why there's more ways to save your things this time.

Best $22 I've spent on Switch in quite a while.

Remembering that there are optional and post-ending dungeons, and not all of them accept you being able to take items on them. Also, the game has badges around optional challenges as "beat the main dungeon without using swords (or shields) (or attacking)" and the relevant one to this, "beat the main dungeon without reviving" :D

Well I prefer the game being difficult by itself and not by going for special achievements.
I still like it though.
