Earth orbit transfers taking too much delta v
I have a small fleet with cruise accelerations ranging from 17 to 35 milli gees. Build on Earth Moon L2 point with 8.5kms total delta v.

It couldn't reach LEO at all, said it needed 11 or more kms delta vee. I managed to get it to intermediate Earth Orbit station I had on almost empty tanks. Then refit them with next tier of engines (advanced pulsar) and improved their fuel reserves to 10.5kms.

They could reach only a single of my stations while expending almost 9kms. Transfer window slider was completely missing from transfer planner. To get to alien ship in LEO from said intermediate orbit game said it needed 11+ kms

I broke the fleet and even the ship with best cruise acceleration (35mG) needed similar huge delta v.

What exactly is the bug?

L-points may be bugged. I've seen transfers taking 1000+ years and/or ridiculous amounts of delta-v
"Transfer window slider was completely missing from transfer planner. " - this happens if your acceleration is too low and you can only use 'Microthrust spirals' (explained here https://www.pavonisinteractive.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=29424)

All/most tranfers in the Earth system will be spirals since you need ridiculously high cruise acceleration for anything else

Yeah, looks like mere orbit phasing(*) transfers are somewhat bugged currently.
I've seen situations where you're at Earth/Mars/etc and try to transfer to the leading/trailing Lagrange L4/L5 points of that body and the game will display ridiculous numbers, like 30,000,000,000,000,000 (cant remember if it's days or dV needed) or - if not that - then numbers still are way too high.

Technically you can go to/from any body to its L4/L5 with an infinitesimally small amount of dV. It will just literally take milennia. Shift your orbit up/down a tiny tiny tiny amount so you're going slower (or faster) than what you're trying to go to, then just... wait... and wait... You (or your target) will catch up.

Orbit phasing means going backwards/forwards but staying in the same orbit. Like going from 30% behind earth to actually earth's position.
