crash on startup

Played when it first released and and coming back now to try and play again. I started the game and I see the hooded horse logo and then corsair logo and then it crashes. I get no error or anything of the sort. The screen just kind of goes black and then Im sitting on my desktop. I have tried to setup in a windowed launch but that doesnt work. has anyone experienced this? All drivers are up to date. I can not play the game. Thanks!

The most common causes of this we've seen lately are:

1) Players having old code-injection mods in place (using Unity Mod Manager) that don't work anymore. You'll need to run UMM to update or remove the mod.

2) I/O errors usually involving OneDrive or some similar service not giving TI permission to write its user config file in My Documents\My Games\Terra Invicta.
