Railgun/Coilgun hybrid technology

Saw a recent video from Spacedock about theoretical hybrid guns. I think those kinda cool and can step above coils as more variety in cannon tech. (We can't have enough variety, aren't we?)

You could make a mag gun which had less velocity than the coil guns but a much greater rate of fire, also require T3 manufacturing because the ammo on those thing are complicated magnetic systems themselves, something that would be impractical until you have large scale atomic printers.
