bought mars base, not getting resources?

As the title says, I'm having trouble figuring out why I'm not getting the resources from this base. its operative afaik. if someone could maybe give a quick rundown of issues I'd be appreciative, and can give more details too.

I'm still pretty new and haven't quite figured out the space stage, having focused on learning the way to make a solid council, improve the nations, and even crack large states like china.

The top thingy is the mine. You sure you dont gent res? The monthly income is listed in the left top corner.

Pretty sure, its listed there but no income in the top bar, and I don't think its because theres not enough

And the detail view of each res?

There is the posibility that you drain more res through stations than Mars can achieve (which is unlikely i think in your stage)

what might be, res income does not update right away, so if you just got the base it might not show on top bar yet. This is just a guess, but if i am right, proceed a day or so and see if it updates

been a few months now. I'll try to restart. my only other thought is that since I don't produce any fissiles it might be preventing those from being run, I might change it over to solars if I can sustain that?

You have to check the actual base for production and energy expenditures. There is a screen in base details showing the maintenance costs and output. BTW, solar beyond earth is worse than anything else.

you probably aren't powering it. Solar on the mars surface is terrible. You need reactors

Well, as for solutions, the only thing I can think of is that maybe you can't get resources from mines that you trade for if you don't have the tech to build the mine in the first place? I don't really think that's true but it's possible.

I bought some roids from Humanity First to get an insight on buying stations.

Sadly... HF was so crippled that each mining complex was either destroyed or not build. So i need to buy another Base to test it.

okay so here's a the funny solution that worked when I woke up today. I literally turned the base off and back on again and it worked.

and thanks for the advice about solar, I'll have to find a good base to help cover the fissile expense but that should be doable.
