I thought I could add them to the caliphate, but it seems none of the founding nations share claims with india, is india supposed to be independant?

It seems like I can use China to eat up eastern asia, all the way up to siberia, then eat japan as well, then liberate mainland china with taiwan, then create greater indonesia and eat australia, then eat taiwan along with the rest of asia, then create the caliphate and african nations, unify africa, eat africa with the caliphate, create the house of islam, then eat indonesia along with the entire eastern asia/oceania merging asia, oceania, the middle east, africa, and leaving India out.

Yes. India is an independant.
Its a HIGHLY HIGHLY underestimated mid into late game super power.

You can go Great India though ,if you want it a bit bigger.

Yeah I know, just a bit sad I'd have to leave it out.

Then again, it's more like a forfun thing, I'm not sure if it's worth it to put china into the caliphate, restoring the government would take a very long time, though it's one way to develop the continent with a more stable/richer superpower.

Might even separate them later after they are self sufficient or something.

Cede guwhati to China -> LIberate mainland china -> give beijing and other provinces to Taiwan(Chinese capital will move to guwhati) -> japan -> pacific defence league(Absorb everything) -> Greater indonesia aborb everything -> Greater malaysia(absorb colombo)-> Malaysia cedes kuala lumpur to China(capital moves to colombo) -> greater malaysia (malaysia absorbs the big indonesia and big taiwan)-> china absorbs pacific defense league -> India has claims on both malaysian and chinese capitals -> Mega India
