Can you Fight the Aliens as Servants?

Just wondering but can you go full war mode against the aliens as servants and just say ♥♥♥♥ it to pre scripted win conditions? I just want to do a humanity versus aliens play through Xcom style, not really interested in all the human vs human politics stuff. Im just gonna say I really like this game even if it doesn't quite fit what exactly I was looking for aka Im an original Xcom UFO defense Enjoyer, and I like Xenonauts. I love the space combat even if the UI is a bit wonky but I want to be focusing more on the Human versus Alien combat than the human political carnage personally. I don't mind having different organizations to contend with etc and factions to fight it just needs to actually be fun and rewarding instead of endless tedious agent actions. The Ground combat and nation building could really use more depth than what's currently available. Like if you could slap the planet side politics from the original xcom into this game... or like something with your own spin on it and also keep the space combat you've got going on now with some more polish. Perfect game right there imo. Just my 2cents from an old xcom fan if I haven't made that obvious lol.

Uhhh, what? If you want humans vs aliens, then just play the protectorate or humanity first. Servants are for playing AGAINST the humans, so if you're looking for as little "human vs human politics stuff", then that's probably the worst pick of all of them.

Besides, even if it's possible to fight the aliens as Servants (I never tried), you would STILL have to interact with other human races. It's an integral part of the game, you can't just remove it or ignore it. This game isn't Xcom.

Yeah I needed to clarify my statement a bit more, I guess I was trying to say I would like to play this game like Xcom and wondering if its possible to do haha. I've already done a complete play through as the Resistance so I've gotten a pretty good taste of all aspects of the alpha state game play.

You could try to play as humanity first and treat everybody as the enemy, probably the closes you'll ever get to You vs them like i Xcom.

Hmm maybe I'll try humanity first as my next play through then. I just figured it might be easier to not be constantly fighting the servants if I played as them and actively fought the aliens instead.

Yes, you can fight them. But you will be unable to win your game in that case as their winning condition is NOT about fighting aliens
