noble metals
I think i may have come to a point where i can't progress any further in the game. i have no noble metals to build mining outposts ( i have 1 on the moon which does not produce them ) no other faction (except humanity first has any to trade ) and i am not able to contact them to trade. so it's seems to be a vicious circle . any ideas ?

Technically you only need noble metals if you want to build in space, otherwise you can order the modules from earth using boost and cash.

My suggestion is that if you have unlocked Mars is to expand there and save up some cash and boost to send your modules from Earth. Hell, if you have the asteroid belt unlocked search for an asteroid that gives a lot of the metals you need.

16 Psyche in the belt always has a ton. There's a few good spots on mars too.

Mars should have a few spots. Just boost up the missing resource to Mars.

The moon is closer.
If you have no minerals, places far away can get costly as hell. In my first time i did not know about the moon and had to calculate 200 rockets only for a mining modul to mars. The rest of the place not included.
Take the moon, then mars.

You use boost to pay for space assets early on which is why boost is pretty critical in the early part. If you've unlocked Mission to Mars typically the Olympus Mons site has a fair bit.

Thanks all i'm still a bit confused I've built outpost bases on a couple of juicy asteroids buy the option to build a mining out post is not available with no option to build on earth and says that i haven't got the required resources ?

At a guess, you don't have the boost.
This is why colonizing Jupiter is the big brain move for the long game (as opposed to Dyson mercury).

I would say, trade some with the other faction. Trade is important in this game.
I would only farming anti matter and cash, then trading the other with everyone else.
No base equal no Base defending RNG, no headache. Let the AI take the headache.
If it owned by your enemy faction, take it from them.

If the alien wouldn't bombard it later, then it is good for you.

Every time I got close to Jupiter the aliens attacked.

Not quite sure what you're trying to say here. Is the option available but you're missing resources?
Or is the option not available - in which case you simply need to research it. The mining complex isn't automatically included with the outpost research IIRC.

Earth is also Anti-Matter the Van Allen Radiation Belt in Mid Earth Orbit also has anti-matter. I also learned you can actually build a station in the Jupiter Lagrange without auto triggering hostilities so you can pre plan by building the base with a ship yard and constructing a bombing fleeting ready for when you engage the kill switch

You don't need to nit pick here the point is Jupiter is Antimatter rich and the aliens covet it... Don't get tied down in trying to pick apart a statement....

Sensitive much? Seems like Brakiros was just adding to what you were saying, which I for one found helpful. Sheesh.
