Aliens sent army of doom on to me

Aliens sent some robotic army down to my alliance, established themselves in one province and started to march on. Is this game over or is there any hope?

I was so brutal on the Servants and I killed 3-4 of the visiting aliens. I get it, they're mad. Didn't pay attention to hate bar, as I was in the role playing Humanity First. :)

But my 4.6 armies aren't match for them. I nuked them once when they first touched down, should I nuke again?

Nuke them till they seem dead, then nuke them again.

Yeah, IRL I would be a total servant. :D

I'd do that if I wasn't afraid of climate change to get me in the end. :)) I guess that's a problem of later.

If you can muster like 10+ armies to beat them then that's cool.

If you can't then just nuke it once, one of the armies should disappear, the rest should be wounded, then pile on the survivors and beat them before they can regen.

In my experience, contemporary armies can beat them 4:1. If you don't have the forces, nuke them. If you don't have nukes, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Continue to use nuclear weapons until you are satisfied that there is no trace of them left. Always keep a large nuclear stockpile in your safe countries.

you can wait for them to cool down on the march to victory and unrest will start skyrocketing in their country, after you notice less alien activity from agents thats your time to start going back on the offensive.

Nukes are cooling down the earth so all in all that's not bad for climate. It's bad for your GDP though.

Hmm, thank you for insights. I can nuke them for some time. I have all EU, Euroasian Union, North Korea so like 35 nukes in total. I want to know this though, won't they retaliate again for me wiping them out. Is this going to be a death spiral from now on? Should have I played in a safer, sneakier way until I gathered more tech?
