Control Points Am I missing something?

2027 I have had full control of USA for 4 years in game. All control points were defended and I had 80% popular support in the country. Magically the servants just took one control point. Then another one the next turn. They had 20 influence in their resource pool.

I have high level agents that cannot get more then a few percentage points chance to even crackdown one of these points they stole and a 0% to purge them maxing out influence and I still have 60% popular support and 4 of the 6 control points... but they are just taking them from me like it is no issue at all.

So what is going on here? They are clearly not doing this the normal way. Has anyone else seen this? The youtubers i have watched have had nothing like this happen to them and have never lost defended control points like this. I cannot do this to the other factions either so something is going on.

I will also add that I am over on my control points, but not by much about 25 points. I know they can get a bonus from this, but that would have to be a heck of a bonus.

Issue Two: I also had 5 of 6 control points in China and Exodus faction just took the executive point despite it saying they cannot and me never having the option to do it either on them. Is the Ai just cheating? Or am I missing something.

You do know that you are fighting against mind controlling aliens, right? Join the dots. That is why you should kill them as fast as possible even with the possible aggro, letting alien councilors run loose is a good way to lose your backline.
