Orgs
Im in 2024 now and 80% of Orgs i get offered in the Marketplace are Gov Agencies or Criminal Orgs.
The other factions get all the cool low cost stuff, and im here stuck with CIA, NSA and so on for the 10th time in a row now.
Is there something buggy?
My OPS income is already at 15 now, i really would like to get something else.

You'll probably come across a lot of cheap orgs over time though, right? Lots of companies and stuff and you can form them with research too. :)

It matters immensely which nations you control, and which nations favor your faction. Early on, you should be grabbing up nations and increasing public opinion exclusively. Now that you're in 2024, things are gonna be slowing down, and you're gonna have to start to work with what you have, because taking nations after that will need to be about espionage and war. Also, don't be afraid to fire council members and hire new ones. Their specific stats are extremely important to what your plans are.

Good point. Made the mistake early on of hanging on to useless council members who had abilities that didn't suit what I needed at that time (focused more on overthrowing than grabbing open territory, for instance).

If the AI are getting all the "cool" orgs. Steal them back. Take their agents into a dark alley, beat the hell out of them and take whatever shiny ♥♥♥♥ you find in their pockets.

sounds like you did not get the global tech that unlock the +5 org per month.
global economics and global domestic something. they each give a faction project you can research that gives +5 orgs to the pool of orgs you can buy.
once you grab those 2 you get plenty of orgs every month you can buy, might even get lucky and find a few adm orgs

I check every Month, but only bad luck so far. Looking for a decent Criminal with more than 2 cmd and 1 adm. :))

I only ever get offered Government organisations as well. Meanwhile the AI starts with like 20 orgs ready to go and won't trade any of them for anything : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2868599745

Trade? That's silly.

STEAL THEM.
Wakuseino Sep 27, 2022 @ 8:05pm
I mean, that one makes sense to some extent From what I've seen, the AI refuses to trade any Orgs they have equipped. You can trade for ones they don't have equipped, but that's only ever going to be a fraction of them.

Exactly, let the AI buy them and then just take what you need

It does put you in conflict with the faction though so maybe don't steal from everyone

Someone will always have you on their ♥♥♥♥ list. Steal from them...

To go back to the OP I've noticed this too, the AI is ful of the cheap orgs while I only have the 200-inf government agencies.

Is it maybe that the limited list prioritises orgs that need a CP (the expensive ones) and if you expand too quickly at the start that fills up your list and there's no room for the cheap ones?

It gets a lot better once you research the tech mentioned above, but its rng to actually discover the right faction project after researching arrival economics.

However that RNG does get better the more you contribute to the research of the global tech! Definitely always check what the global tech unlocks and kick some research towards it if you need it.
