console commands
I have a question before buying. Does this game have console commands/dev mode or something like that?

I like these features in the game, because you can build your own scenarios with it, when you get bored. :)

Can you press tilda? Usually a shell will pop-up. If yes then possible commands if no then keep pressing random usual shell buttons. Go ahead, I'll wait until you buy the game and see for yourself. Also, I'm really good at cheat engine so maybe try that for yourself.

I tried tilda and it didn't work, but it may be another key. Also the game will have modding support :)

sadly they are not implemented, gonna wait till it gets mod support or devs will implement it.

Yes, there is a console.

To access it, you need to edit the TIGlobalConfig.json file and change the line:

"debug_ConsoleActive": false,

If that's set to true, you open the console with tilde.

Playing with the console activated supposedly locks the achievements.

Is there a list of console commands available anywhere? I used the "Help" command but it seems to get cut off and a lot of the text is out of order.

Since the words are too small. i just try to read and see which one i can use for now.
"addresource/giveresource type,amount,councilname"
"addcouncilresources amount"
"addspaceresources amount"
"prospect spacebody"
"propoganda councilname,strength,nation"
"givetech dataname"
"giveproject dataname,optional:councilname"
"GiveAllTechs optional:councilname"
"completeproject councilname"

There's also the "GiveCP countryname,councilname"

Edit:The console command that you type in must follow the format.
Like for "giveproject dataname,optional:councilname"
There is a comma "," in between the dataname of the project and the councilname. Without it the console command won't recognize the dataname of the project.

The giveproject dataname will be "Project_dataname of project"

Where do you find the TIGlobalConfig.json file?

First, you have to select browse your local file for Terra Invicta.
Then you have to go to TerraInvicta_Data > StreamingAssets > Templates
The TIGlobalConfig.json file is in there.

Has anyone else had a problem with the propaganda command.
propaganda DestroyCouncil,100,Mongolia ends up giving it to all countries world wide.
I have also tried the nation codes like HYS for the Himalayan States.
Every time I try it, it effects the whole planet.

Either that or i just need to make a mod that gives passive public opinion gain while in control of all control points.

does anyone know what key if any opens the console on a nordic keyboard? ~ is not it's own button, usually it's § or smth instead but I can't find one that works

I'm not sure, but if it's the same key as US QWERTY keyboards, then it's the first key in the second row. So, usually the key to the far left below ESC. Does that not work? It looks like that's the key with § on it. I figure you tried that?
