Another patch and more news about the demo

Greetings everybody!

We have recently published another patch to improve your experience in our demo for Archer: The Witch's Wrath. Check out the changelog below:

Improved the shop menu, it should no longer be possible to purchase arrows for free after restarting the game
Archer allies AI improved and damage output increased
Added missing SFX to Orc Champion
Added missing sword SFX
Increased game stability

Steam Next Fest is slowly drawing to a close. Thank you for the valuable feedback, we read every comment and took it to heart. This demo is but a small glimpse into the game we want to create and there is a lot of room for improvements and changes. Our main goal when publishing our demo was to establish which game aspects we should focus on or modify. And thanks to your support, we now have all the info we need to create a better game. Thank you!

We will keep the demo public for now, even after the Steam Next Fest ends. If you have any afterthoughts, feel free to share them with us on the forums!

New patch for Archer: The Witch's Wrath demo!

Greetings everybody!

As you probably noticed, we launched our demo as part of this edition of Steam Next Fest! We're very excited to showcase our small preview version of Arche and we hope that you're having a fun time playing it.

In order to make your experience even better, we just release a patch for our demo. You can check out the changelog below:

Implemented a new type of enemy - a healing monster that spawns in later waves
Improved Ork pathing
Fixed crashes that would sometimes happen after orcs killed a peasant
SteamVR should no longer activate when you launch the demo
Removed motion blur by popular demand
Improved map borders
Added a warning when the orcs attack the villagers

It is really hard for me to give a true impression of it, as there is no gameplay: -> I start with a bow, but no arrows. -> There is no visible vendor to buy arrows. -> There is no visible area where to refill arrows. -> The keybinds says switch to sword. I have no sword and cannot melee unarmed. -> No enemies spawned. Waited 5 minutes and ran all over the place. -> There are these white circles with Q and E. Neither key does anything. -> You cannot jump when you have the bow out. When it is holstered, y...

Game launches SteamVR, other issues

When I start the game, it launches SteamVR and changes the audio to my Valve Index speakers. If I close SteamVR, the game also closes. Additionally, my game crashed on the 3rd wave when a peasant died.
