What happened to rockstar? RDR2 is the most boring game ever

I have never played a more boring, uninspired and pointless game than RDR2. I love RDR1, GTA4 and Max payne 3 but what happened to rockstar that they released two of the most boring games of all time in RDR2 and GTA5? did some key people quit or something? the controls in RDR2 are extremely slow, clunky and unresponsive. The story is very uninspired and boring and the main character sounds like a dumb drunk. I heard RDR1 remake is coming, hopefully that game doesnt have the slow clunky controls and is true to the original.

i dont get the fascination for online games, if gta5 wasnt succesful online there would have been many more rockstar games.

Fully agree.
Lots of problems that create this, lack of option to fast travel to camp, no side missions and instead all are hidden in stranger missions, cast thats too big and no overarching plot.
Its pretty, maybe the most detailed game ever made, the acting is amzing, but man, is it boring.

Y'know, it's funny. Like, 3 people (if we include OP) have said they either hated, or refunded the game already...

So just leave the steam discussion boards, then? You're not accomplishing anything except looking as pathetic as the PvP players in the ER forums who still ring the "Co-Op Mod Bad" bell every other day.

Yeah, but you're not just sharing your opinion. You're trying to state your opinion as fact. Maybe you oughta go touch grass, rather than cry about a game you don't own on the platform you're crying on?

At least go to the Xbox, or Playstation, or Epic forums... Whichever platform you're on.

what a load of bs freud was. allthough i do have mommy issues. *first born/5*
my wife is like a mommy to me in rl but in the bedroom she is my little girl. and i'm daddy.
but when i was lying in bed next to my real mommy hallucinating on mushrooms.
i just listened to what she had to say with my eyes closed.
and it was very beautiful and humble. i didn't try to.. ya know.like freud would have.
does that mean me and freddie are.. rollerbladers?
if i was sigmund freud with my real mommy i probably would of had to squirt. 8D~'

but i like rdr2.
anways.
i got to sit down with horses yesterday alot. i got alot of pictures of me and horses putting their heads on my shoulder and breathing on me while we sat down.
i get alot of horse love cause i'm part of their herd.
would freud consider that beastiality? cause that bear and druid in balders gate 3
is argued to be totally straight, bro.

freud sounds like a sick freak, not a person to take seriously. About the daddy/girl thing i dont get that, that would imply incest, anyways back to the topic, i hope RDR1 doesnt have the clunky controls of RDR2.

When's the last time you played RDR1? Do you not remember them repeating ♥♥♥♥ like the cart races multiple times? Or herding farm animals multiple times?

To be honest i dont remember much from the game other than that it was awesome, both the setting, music and the characters and the pace. RDR2 feels bad in every single way, annoying music, very slow and bad pacing with very generic pointless "story" and uninteresting characters together with very slow clunky controls although the controls in 1st person is good.
