Cant access Rockstar social club linked account

so i got RDR2 a couple years ago and i tried to replay it but i dont remember my roskstar socal club info and no longer have access to the email i used for it. is there a way to just play my game from steam without having rockstar downloaded?

Same problem here. This issue happened with the new Rockstar Games Launcher. It was working fine before the update. Now it's asking me to login manually to an email that I do not recognize

edit - it is amazing how many do not click the link and read.
edit - rebuying the game as stated below is absurd. there is zero reason to rebuy. recover your account. if you can'y properly explain to r* your issue, they can't help. if you tell them the wrong things (like unlink), they can make things worse. your email is no longer accessible, you want a new one - fix it. your email got hacked and someone else changed it, you want a new one - fix it. your account got hacked, your email got changed, they made a new account with your email to cause issues, you still want the email on the old account changed to one you can access - make them fix it. don't reward poor treatment of the customer by buying more copies 'because you can' or 'are annoyed with waiting'. just making things worse.

I was finally able to login to the Social Club with my gmail account, but never got in with my regular e-mail account on the Social Club or Rockstar Launcher. I guess Rockstar got mad, because they kicked me out of playing RDR2 and L. A. Noire on PC, so I deleted the games off of Steam. I still have my L. A. Noire VR, which I'll check tomorrow and see if it's working or not. I think I can Still play RDR2 on my XBOX, though, but will check that later, too, to see if it's still working or not.

Rockstar changed their minds and fixed it so I could create a new account and login to the Social Club. I had deleted my games off Steam, and am now re-downloading them. When they are downloaded, I'll try to login to the Rockstar Games Launcher and see if I can play Story Mode or not.

Open the game, and Rockstar launcher don´t recognise my account of Social Club.. same with GTA V.

Same problem w me. I went thru over a month of back and forth with RS by emails, them asking for screen shots of my Steam account and purchase history etc, and it all ended with the cycle completely starting over.... as if, it's all AI bots on their end. They would not or could not unlock my account b/c my OG email was linked to them and they kept sending emails to it, even though it was a instant return as undeliverable ( I tested it). Insane.

I set up a new e-mail account to play RDR2 and L. A. Noire on Steam, and I was able to login with the new e-mail onto the Social Club, but couldn't login to the launcher with the new e-mail because it kept asking for the password i used on Steam when I purchased the game, instead of the new password I'd created to get on the Social Club and the Launcher. The new e-mail and password worked on the Social Club, and the e-mail worked on the Launcher, but the password didn't. I got fed up and decided I'll just play RDR2 and L. A. Noire on my XBOX because they were working the last time I checked. Rockstar sent me a customer service survey to fill out and I put on there that they need to do away with the Social Club and the Launcher and just let us download the game and play it directly from Steam. I also deleted both games from my Steam account and uninstalled them from my PC as well as all Rockstar files. Maybe one day Rockstar will come to their senses and let people play how they want to without all the login stuff. I was only trying to play RDR2 in Story Mode. I've never had the desire to play it Online.

No, it's asking for the password for your Rockstar SocialClub account; nothing in the Rockstar Launcher pertains to Steam.

I tried it and it kept saying that I had to use the password I used when I originally created the account. I tried the one I thought it was but it kept saying it was "invalid". I tried to reset my e-mail and password but the Launcher kept rejecting the ones I tried to use and I couldn't get past the login screen to reset my password. When I contacted Rockstar, I never received the links in my e-mail to reset it.

That doesn't even make any sense at all.
You don't use that to log into the Rockstar Launcher FFS; you use your Rockstar account.
Which you can log in here to check that it's actually working properly or not.

Yes, I decided to retry, so I'm downloading RDR2 and L.A.Noire now, and my Social Club account seems to be running okay. I'll try to use the Launcher later when the games download. I clicked on the "Play on Steam" button when I tried it yesterday, and it took me to the Launcher login screen but wouldn't accept my login information. I'll try that again too, and if I still can't login, i put in another support ticket through the Social Club. Thanks for your help and information.
