On-top of that I highly recommend LENNYS MOD LOADER and RAMPAGE TRAINER (do not use the Simple Native Trainer included with above linked scripthook)
I checked my entire pc for any .log files for scripthook, there is none.
Last time I used LML I got a virus so idk if I want to try that again lol
But aside from ScriptHook what all are you trying to add or change with regards to the game? You may need an ASI loader as well. Overall these don't do anything to your game except maybe disable the RDO while actively loaded. You need to add actual mods that make changes or provide options such as a Trainer for example.
I have removed the default trainer although in my experience even if you have both Rampage and the native trainer enabled it just ends up overlapping which isn't a big deal.
I got LML through rdr2mods, tho it might have been a fake website idk. as far as I'm aware you don't even need LML unless you want to use a specific file type.
I had them both for a while so to play around and it was doable; what I did was bring up Rampage (both trainers use the F5 key) then navigate through the settings of Rampage and change it's Hotkey to F8; then save the settings.
LML is used for actual Mods that are not simple ASI drop-ins, as ASI drop-ins go into the main RDR2 game folder. LML is often used when you want to easily addon other Textures or 3D Models.
Once you enter Story Mode; after the loaded into the actual game-world, move around so the in-game UI is able to show up, then press F5, you should see a Trainer popup; then everything should be working properly. Again if you have Native and Rampage trainers both active, then easy thing to do is change the Rampage settings so it's primary hotkey is changed so it does not use F5.
F6 is already used for RDR2 Camera Mode.
Please be mindful that some of the features offered within Rampage Trainer are experimental and could crash your game or corrupt a saved game file should you save later after activating certain things. But like cheats, most activated settings (like Godmode for example activated within Rampage trainer) do not save to your saved game file. Thus meaning that should you load that up later, such settings would be deactivated. But the big plus is that you can play around with GodMode or NeverWanted from Rampage Trainer without it affecting your game achievement system. Unlike the cheats that Rockstar has in the game, which when activated do not allow you to unlock achievements or further save your game manually.
When you open the LML file you downloaded; you will notice ModLoader and ModManager.
Open ModLoader and then place those contents within RDR2 game folder; not the ModLoader folder itself. But the ModManager folder, dump this whole folder into the RDR2 game folder. The ModManager can be run if needed to ensure that what you add/remove from the LML folder is being seen properly, as reflected with the ModManager.UI.exe app after you run that, which allows a way to toggle mods on/off, or change their loading order if needed. However it will not list items you put in the LML > REPLACE or LML > STREAM folders which are often used for changes to in-game items such as UI, Catalog, Textures, Models.
The problem is that I have all this stuff installed correctly, just that nothing (not even terms and conditions for Rampage) pop up when I load a story save.
