reloading a revolver takes too long

revolvers in rdr2 are main weapons that you have. revolvers are of great significance at a time period the game is set in, therefore you can expect to find a lot of revolvers usually. the problem is, attempt to make the game realistic to an extent drags even the reloading animations down. in a fun game, a revolver animation that you'd expect would last very little time, but here it takes almost forever for him to insert all the shells. then when you are about to shoot the second time after your first shot, there is also a long delay. it's crazy how long it takes.

And if the animation was too quick like Red Dead 1, then you'd be calling it out for being unrealistic. The delay after the first shot you're talking is when the cylinder has to be revolved to the next round by pulling back the hammer. Just stick to the pistols, M1899, Mauser or Semi-auto. Reload is quick and there's hammer pull after each shot.

those pistols appear too late in the game when i don't need em anymore.

rdr2 is quite slow

Took me a while to realize this. Thought he actually needed some education on revolvers to understand how accurately the devs got this.
