Rockstar won’t patch this game, certainly not SP or anything Vulcan related. My problem with Vulcan was getting in to run for more than a few hours without crashing tried every fix to no avail. Directx12 is a stuttery mess even on a 4090 I wouldn’t recommend. Rd2 was supposed llynbuilt from the ground up with vulkan but now rockstars main focus is gta 6 and trying to get through to their support is like trying to draw blood from a stone
I think the issue here is mainly with people who have upgraded their pc since Dec 2019.
If i booted up red dead on the pc i bought it on launch with im sure there wouldnt be much problems either.
I had a completely different PC when I bought the game and did my first playthrough ( Ryzen 2700, 16GB of RAM and RX 580 8GB ) and I just finished my second playthrough today on a Ryzen 5600, 32GB of RAM and RX 6600 XT, the only part that remained the same is the motherboard. So I don't think that newer hardware would be the issue.
