Social Club Error 1005?

Never had this issue before and I've been playing every day for the past 2 or 3 weeks.

I'm at a loss, as I've tried to do everything people have recommended others to do to fix the same issue and nothing has worked.

I have tried turning off Real Time Protection.
I have tried setting compatibility settings, including Run As Administrator.
I have tried verifying the game cache.
I have tried deleting everything related to the Rockstar Launcher and reinstalling it again.
I have tried turning off Steam overlay.
I have tried disabling my internet, tried changing the DNS settings.

Nothing has worked....

I turned on other Rockstar-developed titles (those that use the launcher) and they all work.

I have no earthly clue what to do here.

Is there anything I haven't done? I've probably forgot to check or add it to the list of things I've tried, but I'll accept any help. This is immensely frustrating.

I had this recently, took me hours over two days of fault finding to solve it. I tried a million things, watched dozens of video's on it, and I cannot tell you which particular solution worked for me, other than I spent a LOT of time fine tuning and setting exceptions in my Norton 360 antivirus. (Ended up uninstalling Norton's and reverting to Win Defender, fed up with Norton's and their endless additional feature ad's for extra money)

I also run both Steam and RDO2 as Admin.

Yeah I was at a complete loss.

I conceded defeat and just reset my PC to factory settings.

Everything's working fine now. And my rig is running better so something positive came out of it.
