Just a side suggestion, some extra fun I made for myself to do with hats. There are hats hiding in secret places that you get to keep and can use, when you make outfit, and sometimes people you beat up or kill drop hats that you can wear and become yours. Not all hat but often you'll see these special hat flashing, if they do flash it's a hat Arthur can keep. But here's the problem, not all hat flash and they should, so because of that i made a side game for myself that every hat I find on the ground I'd wear until I find another. I once walked into the camp with a police and Dutch made fun of the bad choice of hats I'm wearing. Sometime, if you have a weird hat, others will comment on it. So, there's a side game to make yourself.
There is an old drunken mountain man in the Valentine saloon with a bear head as a hat. He's trying to start a fight so if you do fight him and win you get his bear head hat cos it's one of the many hats you get to keep if you wear it. There's a hunting side quest where you hunt bison with Charlies and you follow dead bison to 2 guys with ugly hats. One of those ugly hats you get to keep. There's a viking helmet in a huge grave, I think NW of Annesburg. There are other helmets around too.
