should i install mods to this game? i wanna have fun and i also want to enjoy it and dont ♥♥♥♥ the gameplay and what it has to bring me.

If you wanna have fun online with your own character I highly recommend RDO Lobby Manager. It creates private lobby so no hacker problems anymore. It also adds back random encounters that Rockstar took away some time ago. And of course you can still invite other friends.

I went through the same struggles, do I mod... do I not mod. These are the ones I settled on, and I feel they don't muck around with any of the core game.

No Vignette
Enhanced Entity and World Persistence
Stutter Fix (I Chose the 10000 option, I used it for DX12, Vulkan was smooth and I didn't need to use it before I switched)
Camp Anywhere Mod (I don't really use it, but it's really nice and good to know I can just make a cosy campsite anywhere I please)
