How to manage inventory?

I have lot of things in my bag but my horse bag is empty. I cannot understand how to exchange between inventories. I'm in the camp and I see a box to change clothing but that all

Hi, the horse storage is a lie, in actuality the only things stored on the horse are outfits , pelts and weapons. Your satchel contains everything else.
If you are stuck for space in the satchel it can be upgraded once you reach certain missions in chapter 2
