Fleeting Joy crash
there have been a couple missions where my game crashes, and after researching, the same thing has happened to lots of others, and the solution is usually to turn down the graphics settings and replay the mission, then after the mission put the settings back where they were. that however is not helping me. im at the part of Fleeting Joy where Arthur, then Dutch, then Bill have shown up at the current camp in the swamp, and Bill was followed by the law. so the game says W to crawl, but before you can do anything the game freezes and crashes. please someone give me a working fix, im heavily invested in this game and i want to finish it.

any luck so far? I have had the same problem in chapter III when you torch the tobbacco fields, changing the graphics API in settings did the trick for me.

Edit: all crashes ceased completely altogether after updating my card drivers - so try this (or switching the gpu API + restart, though it lead to worse performance for me)

got here because I had the same issue, leaving this in case anyone else comes across this post.

Yes I had the same issue on the tobacco fields mission, and I'm getting it now on the Fleeting Joy mission. In the tobacco field mission you can basically just kill yourself with dynamite 3 times and you'll get the option to skip the mission to the next checkpoint. Just keep doing that until you get through the whole mission. I'm stuck on fleeting joy though because I don't see any way I can kill myself so I guess my game is just bricked now.

edit:
I was able to get through Fleeting Joy. After updating my video card drivers and restarting my PC. This was probably the issue all along.
